while looking through a set of binoculars. Pigeon Point

is the second tallest lighthouse on the Pacific coast and

is now a youth hostel.

Done from the San Mateo County coast. Exact location and date unknown. Early in my nautical career, I was a navigator in the U.S. Navy and steamed upand down the California coast viewing it from the waterside, as this ship is doing here.

23. Hard Aground in Palo Alto Yacht Harbor

Shows a visiting Sea Scout boat on February 4, 1982. I spent many happy hours in this harbor before it was turned back to nature.
