Box from Curly Redwood
This box made from curly rewood was designed as an urn for ashes. It measures 7″ x 7″ x 8 1/2″.
King, Queen and Pawn Makes Three
This trio completes the chess art series of six large pieces. The king stands 17″, the Queen is 14″ and the Pawn is 6 1/2″ tall. The woods are fiddleback walnut and black acacia.

A Rook and a Bishop
The rook or castle measures about 9.5 inches and the bishop is 13 inches. Both are of walnut burl or fiddleback grain.
Chess Art
The name of this piece of chess art is “BEHOLD THE KNIGHT.” It stands about one foot tall and is made from walnut burl. The finish is Maloof’s mixture.
Chess Board with Levels
This is the hard way to build a chess board. The woods are walnut burl, spalted privet, and birds-eye maple.
